The National Commission for Energy Control and Prices in accordance with paragraph 2 of Article 12 of the Law on Heat Sector of the Republic of Lithuania (Official Gazette Valstybes Žinios, 2003, No 51-2254) approved the heat distribution methods. UAB Ekotermija prepared a report providing the analysis of distribution methods and rules governing their application, and suggestions for their improvement.
The report included the review of district heat distribution to consumers in foreign countries, the principles of heat distribution for heating (for common purposes, for heating of the useful area when heat meters or dividers are installed), for hot water and hot water temperature maintenance. The existing heat distribution methods and rules of preparation and application of heat distribution methods for consumers were reviewed, and proposals to improve them were submitted and draft amendments to the legislation were prepared. Comprehensive visual and explanatory materials about the principles of heat distribution in the multi-apartment house were prepared for heat consumers.
