In view of the demand for district heating and the development of the land of plot of the existing boiler houses and technical capacities to install biofuel boilers with all fuel receipt and storage facilities, the possible scenarios for the development of biofuel boilers were identified and operating modes of heat production in biofuel boilers were determined. Investment demands and operating costs were estimated for each scenario separately. Economic-financial analysis of all scenarios analysed (with and without investment support) was carried out. The influence of the scenarios analysed on the final price of heating was estimated and the assessment of the changes in CO2 emissions was performed. The results were summarized in the conclusions.
