Within the scope of services, an application for the project “Installation of a condensing economizer in the Birštonas regional boiler house” of UAB Birštono Šiluma, an investment project and other documents were drawn up in order to get the support from the Lithuanian Environmental Investment Fund. The company plans to introduce a condensing economizer, whose main purpose is to recover the heat energy of combustion products routed to the stack. In this way, using the same amount of fuel, it is possible to produce more heat energy. Furthermore, additional cleaning of smoke occurs in the condensing economizer, thus not only fuel is being saved but also emissions (particulate matter) to the environment are reduced. The investment support of LTL 0.69 million was allocated for the project in 2013.
