In 2013, an application of UAB Radviliškio Šiluma for the project “Reconstruction of the Radviliškis boiler house by installing a biofuel boiler and a cogeneration unit”, an investment project, procurement documents for the procurement of the boiler house installation services and other documents required to get the support of the European Union Structural Funds under measure VP3-3.4-UM-02-K “The Use of renewable energy resources for power generation” were prepared. A biofuel boiler of 8.0 MW with a condensing economiser is intended to be constructed under the project in the Radviliškis boiler house. The investment support of LTL 3.96 million was allocated for the project in 2013.
