The work is prepared after a detailed analysis of the operating modes of heat production of heat supply companies and their prospects to develop a national programme for the development of renewable energy to ensure the maximum development of the sector with the lowest possible cost and maximum possible benefit. The purpose of work was to evaluate the possible use of renewable energy sources in the country's district heating plants, investments necessary in the development of renewable energy sources, the economic viability of the investment and the need to support these investments.
