Street lighting modernization project using ESCO model was executed by the order of Panevėžys City municipality. In this project, 6405 of current lamps, 500 street lighting poles and 148 switchboards will be replaced with the latest technology. The project implementation will reduce 55 percent of used electricity and operating cost.

During the project, we evaluated current street lighting system technical condition, functionality and lighting quality, created an inventory of all street lighting objects in Panevėžys and also evaluated different modernization scenarios. We prepared technical specification regarding best case modernization scenario and procurement documents based on the ESCO business model.
